Hey, I'm Sanim 👋
Engineering with Intent.
Electronics engineer working at the intersection of embedded firmware, edge machine learning, and IoMT. I've shipped firmware for STM32 and ESP32, designed PCBs, co-authored a peer-reviewed paper on wearable fall detection, and built a spacecraft attitude simulator. I also write about whatever I'm figuring out.
// Projects & Research
Fall Detection System (IoMT)
Wearable sensor node for elderly fall detection — custom PCB design, LSTM model trained on collected data, and on-device SVM inference on a low-power microcontroller. Published in a peer-reviewed journal.
Star Tracker Simulator
Image-processing pipeline for spacecraft attitude determination using OpenCV and a star pattern-matching algorithm. Evaluated under varying noise conditions.

About me
I graduated in Electronics, Communications & Information Engineering from Pulchowk Campus, IOE — Tribhuvan University, with First Division Distinction. I've worked as a firmware engineer building STM32 and ESP32 products, as a BMS engineer commissioning HVAC automation systems, and I currently teach Computer Graphics and C programming at Cosmos College. My research interests are in data-driven antenna design optimisation and reliable edge inference for wearable health monitoring, and I'm actively looking for a research position in those areas.
